The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas
From previous Children's Touring Partnership shows
This adaptation of Michelle Magorian’s most successful book for children works like a charm.
Enchanting. At the end, there isn’t a dry eye in the house. This show is going to be a big success – and I wouldn’t mind the Kleenex franchise.
It ends as children’s theatre should: adults audibly sniveling and children breathlessly attentive.
A great evening… Angus Jackson’s wonderfully well staged, powerfully performed, atmospheric production… I’m still sniffling.
The ever-excellent Oliver Ford Davies turns in a beautifully honed performance… an often moving production and I for one admit to shedding the odd tear.
This is a show of wonder and delight… Catch it if you can.
This joyous production for all ages celebrates youthful freedom and the imaginative power of the inner child.
Perfect – a brilliant feat of nerve and humour.
Classic Ransome’s a cracker. A very happy show and an imaginative triumph.
Dreams come to flamboyant life on stage.
